NOTE: The following information came from Alfred's great grandson, Walter “Skip” Goodman.
Alfred Goodman's name was originally Alfred BONHOMME, a literal translation to GOOD MAN, when his father emigrated back in the 1850’s. Like many immigrants, I’m sure Alfred had misgivings about forsaking his birth name and used BONHOMME in many instances while living in Chasm Falls. One significant example is that a stained glass window was installed in his memory and with his name at the bottom of it in St. Helen’s Church. The window is located
on the left side, 1st one towards the front.

(NOTE: I received the following information in an e-mail from their nephew.
"Very interested to access the files you made re. St Helen's cemetery. I see they begin with Rouse and Clarise, my mother's two little siblings.

They were children of Albert (Bert) and Mary Emma Brown Helms. Rouse died on or before his second birthday of tetanus and Clarise (Clarsay) died on or before ending her first month of pneumonia. She was born on my mother's birthday, March 31st.

I always understood these children were buried in the 'Goodman' lot. Grandma's sister Ida, 1879-1976 married Will Helms 1871-1927 but he died and she married Mr. Goodman. Thus in time of need, her niece and nephew were buried in her lot."
