Stickney Family Cemetery

Franklin, Franklin County, New York
DIRECTIONS: This family cemetery is located on the south side of Rock Street Road. There is a camp road with a sign reading: "VanValkenburg 3-32-10, Paolercio Carey 8-32-10 and The Dumas Family 2-32-10" at the entrance to the camp road. Turn onto the camp road and drive in .6 miles. Park right at the Y in the road. The cemetery is located between the two camp roads on your right. It is off the road approximately 100 feet and cannot be seen clearly from the roads.

COORDINATES: N 44° 29.339'   W 73° 56.665' (These are the exact coordinates of the stone with an accuracy of 26'. Coordinates at the intersection of the two camp roads are N 44° 29.351'   W73° 56.683'.)

NOTES:

This is the cemetery as seen from the camp road. If you look carefully,
you can see the blue chalked spire within the circled area.



Looking across the family cemetery. The base (below) is just to the right of the log you
see in the foreground. One footstone is just behind the center tree.



The stone is knocked off its base, standing straight and tall about eight feet away.
